A new Web site, Health News Review, debuted this week that reviews newspapers, magazines and other media outlets on their coverage of health issues and the quality of their health care journalism. A multi-disciplinary team of reviewers from journalism, medicine, health services research and public health backgrounds review news stories that make a therapeutic claim about specific treatments, procedures, investigational drugs or devices, vitamins or nutritional supplements, and diagnostic and screening tests.  Each news story receives a rating based on how well it covers 10 specific criteria of a standardized rating system.  For more information, go to http://www.healthnewsreview.org/
